Shimmering Green Feathers

These peacock feathers have dark stripes as a back ground for a glorious shimmering green feature.  The come from a two-year-old male and these are the feathers that would morph into green and gold shell feathers the following year.  In year one these are grey and brown striped feathers. Using a transition from these into shell in your kakahu would represent the coming of age.

These feathers look amazing when they are moving; every angle highlights a different colour in the feather and they look really good when they are grouped together.
