Triple Hill

Young Kayden is a lucky young man. He has already shot two deer in two hunts. Then he shot some turkeys. Last night, his first three shots with the .22 were lethal.  First a bunny at 65 yards, a hare at 75 yards then a close-range possum. 

Along with further firearms training, he got to pluck his first possum. He shot a couple more hares then we called it an early night.

The next morning, he learned how to butcher a hare. Then we cooked the backstraps for lunch and they were yum. It is good to see a young fella who wants to learn these skills.

And wait, here comes the casseroled thighs, yum.
